When I was in college I was always finding courses I wanted to take that were more interesting to me than my required courses for my major. At that time, I really didn’t know what I wanted to do for a career. I always was drawn to creative courses, but was told that business was the best career choice. Yes, I actually listened to that advice and ended up taking courses I really wasn’t interested in so never really excelled in them. It took me more than 20 years to finally take the courses on topics I always wanted to learn about, update my skills and just open my mind to new things.
I’m very into digital marketing and get certified every year through an online academy. In my field, things change and evolve so fast, I feel that a yearly certification is better for me than going to a university that has a hard time teaching current and relevant information.
Today, there are multiple online learning websites and I have found some really great ones offering creative, entrepreneurial, business, marketing, yoga, and more. There are always new courses being offered.
I’ve found several online education sites, but for this post I’m going to have you check out the Udemy website. Just click the image below and you can see the ones on sale for $15 for a limited time. If you are considering taking some courses for business or just for fun, check out their other courses and try one out. Some are free and some are paid, but there are always discounts being offered so just keep your eye out for them if you want to save some money on your favorite courses. All you have to do is create an account and start a Wishlist for your future courses.
Use code ‘SETSAIL515’ at checkout until 6/10/15 @11:50 PST.
